DDS Lab
Brand Refresh & Guidelines Design

DDS Lab, a full service dental laboratory chain has been around for the past 10+ years and their branding looked like it. The rebrand consisted of a logo update, new colors and fonts, brand strategy and positioning, digital and print friendly ad templates, sales sheets, and a website / blog launched with content management capabilities. Creating a logo or rebranding your business is truly one of my favorite design projects to do. I can fit most timelines and budgets. HBO Max
UI Design & Product User Testing

Now more than ever streaming platforms and their UI are working overtime to serve up the entertainment you are craving quickly and to your liking. A feature as simple as how the platform suggests what you would want to watch next gets a lot of thought and user testing put into it. These innovative features can truly give a streaming service a leg up compared to their competition. While working on this project white labeled as “Turner TV” I worked with a small team to concept and create streaming platform features, design prototypes in InVision and in short video format for user testing. Many design rounds and months later I am happy to see my concepts live in what is now HBO Max.

Subway
Social Creative & Content Creation

Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok all have become an expected and important communication tool for brands. The trick is how do you utilize these channels properly vs just using them as a megaphone to speak one way to your fans, followers, and loyal customers. It’s more than just throwing coupons or repurposing your tv ads but rather initiating a conversation or connection that truly resonates and benefits both sides. I had a lot of fun working with other talented creatives at Subway utilizing their partnerships with the NFL and Frank’s Red Hot Sauce. Gifs, Stories, Memes, Funny Tweets and more were a great amount of fun to come up with and produce this Fall.

 
 

DESIGN DIRECTOR EXPERIENCE

Nike + Wizards

Every year each NBA team has special edition jerseys created by Nike. I worked directly with the Washington Wizards and Nike to create a design system for all marketing materials and original artwork for the “City Edition” jerseys, social media needs, in-arena graphics, and ticket sales marketing materials.

PRODUCT LAUNCH EXPERIENCE

HBO Max

I was brought on as a Creative Director to concept and produce product launch marketing campaigns for the streaming service HBO Max. Being part of the larger Turner Broadcasting family we had access to Adult Swim, Cartoon Network, DC Comics, Harry Potter, HBO Originals, South Park, and several other Warner Bros. specific content and characters. With a copywriter partner we conceptualized several campaigns to work across all media channels. A common issue the platform has to deal with is users sharing login credentials. Rather than avoid that subject one concept really shined as we made it into the whole point for how potential users could try out the new streaming platform pre launch. My favorite character concept was a fake user profile for Batman with curated content allowing curious users to “Steal Bruce Wayne’s login credentials” and try HBO Max for a limited time.

CREATIVE DIRECTOR EXPERIENCE

PepsiCo

In Canada, Pepsi is the official beverage of the NHL. Before the start of the 2019 season, Pepsi wanted to get fans hyped up before puck drop and show they understand the rituals, rivalries, and fandom that make the game of hockey so epic.

I’m interested in fitness, sports, health & wellness. For CrossFit 212 I made them a simple logo and identity system along with templates for their social media posting needs.

Cadillac Culinary Challenge

Cadillac’s partnership with the PGA allows for their new luxury vehicles to be showcased at some of the most exclusive golf clubs and resorts around the world. But how do you bring that experience to the next level and then try to bring it online for fans and followers to experience it online? Add in culinary masters to draw in the crowds in real life and share the cooking experience online through social and continue the program in public places for others to attend.
